Jack Petchey Scheme

The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme is a reward and recognitioninitiative initiative that enables Groups and Units to celebrate the achievements of their young people and Leaders.

Achievement Award winners aged 11 – 25 receive a framed certificate, pin badge, membership of the JPF Achievers community and £250 to spend on something of their choice that will benefit our organisation. Award winners are further recognised by attending a Bexley District Jack Petchey celebration event, where they are congratulated on stage in front of friends and family and presented with a boxed medallion.

Leader Achievement Award winners are honoured at the same Jack Petchey Foundation celebration event with a certificate, a boxed medallion and £750 to be spent on something of their choice that will benefit our organisation.

Nominations should come from youth members and Jack Petchey would like to know how they were involved in the nominations.  Perhaps part of a Section evening is set aside for nominations, and after explaining about the awards, each member is given a slip of paper to name who they think should be nominated and why.

The funding received can be spent on things such as a fun evening in the hall, a night out at an activity or meal, a day at the theatre or football, or equipment to benefit the Section, Group or Unit. The list is extensive, so what has your Section always wanted to do but you could not afford it? Maybe this is the opportunity to do it.

The closing date for this round of nominations is 30th March 2017
