District Safety Committee

The District Safety Committee has been created to ensure our District run premises adhere to statutory requirements and the duty of care for safety of persons using their premises.

These responsibilities are not Scout Association rules but Health and Safety Legislation. It is for this reason that the Committee is also available to help Groups and Units that have their own premises to ensure they adhere too.
